Bill Gates' net worth is about $91.1 billion, with Bill Gates co-founded Microsoft with his friend

Paul Allen, served as CEO until 2000, and is still a board member, but is no longer active in its

day-to-day dealings, and the 62-year-old, an American, has raised his own money.

Berkshire Hathaway chairman Andranne Buffett of the United States ranks third on the list of

the richest people in the world, with a net worth of about $84 billion, or about 68.1 billion euros.
